I started this business because I love it, and I live it. With over 2 decades of athletic experience, 10 years of formal strength training and performance focused education, I have a variety of skillsets that create a unique portfolio of Sports Performance Training.

Right now, my athletic passion is Jiu Jitsu; my ‘job’ is Athletic Training; and my goal is to keep people playing their sport as long as possible at the highest level possible.

  Athletic Trainer

The Swiss Army Knife of Sports Medicine

Athletic Trainer - My first career path and my very first professional love. It combines the most amazing parts of the things I enjoy:

- Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Nutrition
- Human Connection & Relationships
- Helping Athletes Overcome Injury
- 100% Athleisure Work Attire

The Swiss Army Knife, because I wanted to know what doctors know, without being stuck in an office/hospital, and I wanted to watch sports all day. Wish granted.

Most think I’m a PE Teacher, Strength Coach, Sport Coach, or Administrator. Telling people I’m an Athletic Trainer is often met with vague confusion. I don’t know exactly what it is I do either… what I can tell you is I’m very good at it.

  Jiu Jitsu Athlete

   Competitor, Coach, Student, Teammate

Jiu Jitsu Athlete - What started as a workout attempt 5 years ago very quickly became an obsession and a lifestyle.

Jiu Jitsu demands mental toughness, discipline, humility, athleticism, and decisiveness under incredible pressures. Every decision you make while rolling is met with immediate feedback, regardless of success or failure. There is no time to celebrate or sulk until the round is done and the bell rings.

Life creates opportunities for those who accept feedback, coaching, constructive criticism. Practice those skills on the mat, and they serve you exponentially off the mat.

  Weight Lifter

Being Strong Makes Everything Else Easier

Weight Lifter - I’ve been the fitness client. I’ve been the fitness coach. I’ve been the weight loss client. I’ve been the strongest and weakest in the room.

Currently I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. Fitter than when I was a college athlete. Happier and in better mental spaces despite being in the most challenging place in my life so far.

Resistance training doesn’t have to look like Olympic Weight Lifting, CrossFit, or Hyrox.
It just needs to make you stronger. My goal is for your training to make sense to you, and work for you. Getting strong should be hard, but Being Strong Makes Everything Else Easier.
